Bucks County Art Workshops

Studying Art and the Bucks County Experience

Stone Ridge Farm, in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, offers a selection of creative art workshops in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. Sixteen workshops are scheduled from May through October, 2008. Week-long workshops run from Monday-Friday; three-day workshops from Friday-Sunday. Classes meet daily from 9am to 4pm and our studio is available 24 hours/day.

Our Outstanding Instructors, known for their artistic achievements, are committed to teaching and bring a full palette of skills to the art experience. The 2008 instructors include James Asher, Cynthia Britain, Ken Cadwallader, Sterling Edwards, Mark Farina, Mike Killelea, Nicki Lanzi, Connie Logan, David Lussier, Susan Ogilvie, Bob Rohm, Fred Somers, Judi Wagner, Debi Watson, and Frank Webb.

Our outstanding Inn is an authentic 1818 historic converted barn, once the heart of the dairy farm of Nobel Prize-winning author Pearl S. Buck, whose estate is just down the road.. Situated on a 10-acre working horse farm, it’s Bucks County’s most unique and exciting Bed and Breakfast.

Bucks County is well known for its picturesque scenery and shopping: stone farm buildings, historic country Inns, river & canal views, antique shops, and fine dining. We're located a short drive from New Hope, Peddler’s Village, and Doylestown with its four fabulous museums: Moravian Tile Works, Fonthill (Henry Mercer’s House), Mercer Museum, and the James Michener Art Museum with an extensive collection of New Hope Impressionist paintings.
