Stone Ridge Farm, in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, offers a selection of creative art workshops in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. Sixteen workshops are scheduled from May through October, 2008. Week-long workshops run from Monday-Friday; three-day workshops from Friday-Sunday. Classes meet daily from 9am to 4pm and our studio is available 24 hours/day.
Our Outstanding Instructors, known for their artistic achievements, are committed to teaching and bring a full palette of skills to the art experience. Our outstanding Inn is an authentic 1818 historic converted barn, once the heart of the dairy farm of Nobel Prize-winning author Pearl S. Buck, whose estate is just down the road.. Situated on a 10-acre working horse farm, it’s Bucks County’s most unique and exciting Bed and Breakfast.
Bucks County is well known for its picturesque scenery and shopping: stone farm buildings, historic country Inns, river & canal views, antique shops, and fine dining. We're located a short drive from New Hope, Peddler’s Village, and Doylestown with its four fabulous museums: Moravian Tile Works, Fonthill (Henry Mercer’s House), Mercer Museum, and the James Michener Art Museum with an extensive collection of New Hope Impressionist paintings.
