We will draw from these images - creating sketches that will be the basis for textile collages.

This workshop will give you the skills you need to break into the children's book market. Activities will include writing critiques, Eric Carle style collage workshop and illustration design. Jim Young is the author and/or illustrator of several books for children. His books have been adapted for television, radio and ballet. Visit www.mopiter.com.

Open Studio with Optional Book Arts Instruction
Peg Gignoux, instructor

Need time and space to explore your own creative ideas? Want to make hand made books? Do both. Transform a tower or old stable into your personal art studio. We will be painting, drawing, stamping, stitching on cloth and paper. Plus receive instruction for envelope travel journals, accordian, album and coptic bound books.
