The Abruzzi Mountain Art Workshop

Drawing and Painting in Italy

Perched half on a mountain, half in the valley below, Anversa degli Abruzzi is a medieval Italian village that straddles time. Visitors enter a simpler world where grapes and fragrant saffron are grown, stone abbeys and castles dot the mountainside and crystal lakes offer a cool afternoon swim. Students eat, live and work alongside villagers, providing a rich, human backdrop for artistic exploration.
