Explore the delights of the Périgord region in the southwest corner of France, one of the country's most picturesque and rural regions, with a workshop at Le Petit Rousset. Workshops include lodging, continental breakfasts, most dinners (with regional wines), entrance fees to scheduled destinations, painting instruction, critiques, and ample time to explore optional destinations. All levels of experience are welcome!
Our thoughtfully restored and renovated 18th-century stone farmhouse & grange is set in the countryside, amidst fields of sunflowers and rows of grapevines, only a 30-minute stroll from the closest village. Amenities feature nine individually decorated guest rooms with private baths, outdoor terraces, and a swimming pool.
On daily excursions with our local English-speaking guides, we'll explore hill towns and medieval bastides, châteaux and caves of prehistoric art. In a region celebrated for foie gras and truffles, walnuts and Monbazillac wine, we'll also enjoy the pleasures of the table.
